Today is one of those days where I feel like I have got nothing done because I have not had any time to spend with my boys. I have done nothing but clean the house, make breakfast, wipe bums, do the laundry, wipe more bums and eat lunch (I swear my kids hold the record for how many times they can poop in one day). This past weekend I worked two extra shifts in a row and it nearly killed me. Seriously. I was living on about four hours of sleep and the house was a disaster. This morning I woke up and thought to myself, “If I don’t clean every ounce of this house today, I think I am going to freak out!”
After I cleaned for five hours straight, I decided to take a break. While I was on the computer, I ran across these photos I took back in October at my mom’s house. Trevin loves playing in my mom’s tub (with Roscoe tending alongside). As I looked at these photos, I thought about my everyday life. I realized I don’t enjoy doing photography to capture those “posed” photos. I love photography because I get to document my life and the little things in it! These photos speak emotion (at least to me). These photos scream happiness, contentment, life, and things that happen in our everyday life.
P.S. I wish we were at Grandma’s house right now…
